Ilfracombe Library

Ilfracombe Library provides a free library and information service to our community.
If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the Staff who are available to help you find the information you seek and to assist you in taking full advantage of the library's resources.
We also welcome phone requests on 4658 2197.
If the item you require is not held by the Ilfracombe Library we can find out where it is held and arrange an inter-library loan.
Loan Periods: We offer each borrower an extended loan period of three weeks, where each borrower is able to choose up to eight items.
Videos: Each borrower is able to select and borrow videos for the three-week loan period.
Extensions: Extensions of loans can be arranged, however the item must be presented prior to the extension being allowed.
After hours Returns: Library items may be returned using the after hours chute at the front of the building.
Reservations: Reservations can be made for any item you require which is already on loan. You will be advised when it becomes available.
Reference Books: Reference books, including encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries etc have restricted circulation. These are available for use within the Library, however these may not be borrowed for any period of time.
Internet Usage: The internet is available to all those who wish to use it. A cost of two dollars per hour (or part thereof) is applicable. Anyone viewing suspect websites will be forbidden to continue to use the computers, and a restricted ban will be enforced.
Photocopying: Photocopiers are available for public use. Black and white copies are 20c each, and colour copies are 45c each.
