Outback Aussie Tours is an extremely successful tour company which, in 1995, won an Outback Queensland Tourism Award and a special commendation in the Queensland Tourism Awards. Owned and operated by Alan and Sue Smith, again in 1996, the company won an Outback Queensland Tourism Award and a special commendation in the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) Tourism awards (Central Region).
